Before becoming a business coach in 2001, I spent 15 years as a board director and shareholder of a 60-employee company, which included co-managing its transition from being privately owned to its purchase by WPP. So I have direct experience of the demands of business leadership.
Having qualified as a psychotherapist in 1994, I found the skills that I developed through my training proved invaluable in enabling me to support my staff professionally and personally – as well as understanding and easing the dynamics with clients. This led to me becoming a professional business coach.
Alongside my coaching work, I continue to operate as a business consultant, advising leaders in sectors including finance, government, health, design, entertainment, travel, telecoms, property and non-profit-making organisations.
I seek to create clarity from complexity. It is a privilege to do this alongside talented and inspiring clients from a diverse range of backgrounds.
